Re: Lion's Bridge Wins GOLD at GABF

Everything I know I learned from the Beer Nuts!

Quite an honor for the brewery. Unbelievable to have a gold medal put on my neck by Charlie P in front of thousands of people when we have only been open just 7 months.

Cheers!

yup, it's coming along. Look for an opening in February.

We just finished taking down all the internal walls, so right now it's a giant blank slate. Pretty awesome.

I did not suggest using that photo. I had a photo from the homebrew fest and the logo. Tim's head frightens me in that photo.

Beer Connoisseur deal from Living Social

I just found this deal... 8 issues (2 years) of Beer Connoisseur for $19. Not sure if it's a good deal as I don't know the magazine that well, but I figured it was worth a try...

There are still some tickets available and you buy them at the Café (1101 3rd St. SE) Or, if you can't make it down sometime in the next few days and definitely want one, I can put one asi...

Here is my weather forecast. A bad ass warm front is going to move in Saturday morning making for unseasonably warm and ideal beer drinking weather. Later in the afternoon after you have established a nice buzz an entertaining thunderstorm will roll through. Find a dry spot near the bar and enjoy y...

And what about the sulfur smell? How long for it to dissipate?

And is the sulfur smell from using campden tablets?

I want to drink my cider now.

I talked to the people at Brewed Cafe and they will put up a poster (if we have one) and we can sell tickets at the register (for cash).

I will take 15 tickets for a trial run if this sounds like something the board wants to do.

Amana Oktoberfest Official Keg Tapping?

Anyone headed down tomorrow for the start of Oktoberfest?

I am planning on going for a liter beer, some schweinshaxe and a little polka. Official keg tapping at 2pm.

After that there is the beer and soup tasting at Benz, then some Gershwin at the Opus Cafe at 9pm.

Anybody want in on this bender?
