Thanks Matt! I trust the rest of you drunk bastards will put this to good use battling public sobriety at our Fest. Cheers.

Re: Free fermenting fridge and keezer
Cool. That can go literally anytime since it's not plugged in anymore. I will warn you that it's a heavy bastard and it's in my basement. You'll want a good wheel cart to get it up the stairs. Let's DM to find a time that works. No rush, of course.

Free fermenting fridge and keezer
If anyone wants them, I am not taking my fermenting fridge, temp controllers, or keezer with me to Seattle. I'm going to take the serving hardware off the keezer but the rest is not coming with me. The base is only a couple years old so it's a good starting point if anyone was looking to build one. ...

New Home for the club trailer
Domestic Leadership has informed me that it's time for the club trailer to find a new home. The original commitment we made was to store the trailer for a few years to offset the costs of installing the concrete slab vs renting a storage lot stall. It's been 5 years so that seems like a fair amount ...

Re: Freezer Repair
Mike suggested a part to me that I had bought maybe 9 years ago to bring a 3 door True cooler back from the dead. I should really write the shit I do down when it works so I remember it.

Freezer Repair
I have an old 5 cu ft freezer that I've been using for a lagerator for the past 10 years or so. It recently decided to stop cooling. The compressor runs and I checked all the relays, switches, caps, etc, but it just won't get cold. Now I'm thinking it's out of freon and needs to be re-charged. Have ...

Re: Counter Pressure Bottle Filler - From Your Tap!!!
Thanks, that's good to know. Overall it seems like a really great little tool for quick and easy bottle filling. Not sure I'd do a full batch this way, but certainly nice for a dozen or fewer bottles.

Re: Counter Pressure Bottle Filler - From Your Tap!!!
I finally got mine working the other day. It mostly worked but foam came out of the pressure relief valve once the bottle was full. Randy, did that happen on yours? Tor claims it's perfectly normal for it to foam out that port, but I can't help but wonder if he's just sick of shipping me replacement...

Re: Counter Pressure Bottle Filler - From Your Tap!!!
I think it was a one-off defect but won't know until the replacement parts show up (hopefully this week). If it works, I would definitely recommend it to others. The ball lock adapter for the gas inlet side is a good accessory to pick up. Also, take care to note which faucets you have as there is a ...

Re: Counter Pressure Bottle Filler - From Your Tap!!!
I own one but the unit had issues. Tor, the inventor/owner at Tap Cooler, seems cool to work with. We ran a couple of tests and he's shipping me a new body for the unit. I like how simple it is to use and, assuming the next one doesn't leak, will recommend it to anyone. Cleanup is pretty easy too. S...

Help bending steel
Does anyone here have a torch that they'd be willing to let me borrow or come help me with for 30 mins? I bent a steel support arm on my pull-behind mower and I need to heat up the 1/2" thick frame bar to bend it back into place. My propane torch didn't come close to getting the job done and I'...
