$4 more would be worth it. Box fans for sleeping and crock pots for slow cooked foods would be nice benefits of power.

Matt F wrote: Ted, with that much wood I may leave mine at home or I will need to do some splitting tonight in this heat.
I'm not sure what size or duration of fire you will want out there but I'll pack a bunch of it.

No need to split any more tonight. Mine has been split and dried for over 2 years.

Mr T wrote:Anyone else have night time bocce, I got a set, but if we had two that would definitely give us enough for the whole crew to play.
My brother has a Bocce set. So we can bring that.

He's also going to bring his Beersbee/Polish Horseshoe set.

That guys got everything.

Re: Beer Camp 2011

Ted, about how much wood do you got? I’m up in the air if I’m making the run to the dump on the way to the camp site, it makes sense, but knowing me I’ll all ready be running behind. I've got more wood than we could use in a single campout. Just got a call from my brother and he is bringing his Lan...

I've had limited results with those bags. They do fill up every year. But my house is 75% covered with a nice (non hop) vine that those beetles love. So I suspect that there are just too many for the bags to be thoroughly effective. I've wondered how well it would work with smaller annual infestatio...

Looks like that can use 110. I'll bring along my power inverter.

So..... should I just load up my own car with whatever I can haul?

Or should I hold out for you and your weight problems?

Ted, Jim, and anyone else doing the 2hr float: How do you want to do this? Do we want to meet at the boat ramp nearest the entrance to the group camp (where we exited the water last year) at say 12:45? I can take up to 3 others in my car. Someone will need to drive me back to retrieve it afterwards...

Re: Beer Camp 2011

Texas Ted, I’m bringing my pickup.. although I have some stuff I was trying to swing by the dump since its along the way so I’m not sure how much wood I can bring, I only have a half ton truck, its taking me quite a few trips to the dump to remove all these old RR ties. If I skip the dump, I will h...

Do we need firewood?

I have a fair amount left over from this year's winter supplies. I just don't have a appropriate vehicle for transporting it.

I've got my brother (who was at Tim's BBQ and several of you met) attending.

And he might even recruit a couple acquaintances as well. I'm waiting to hear on that.

We'll all be tubing and camping. So mark me down as two or four.

tubes

Tubing sounds most fun.

Anyone know of a place in CR that rents out inner tubes?

Otherwise Amazon has some for about $20, Or a bit more if you get a reinforced cover.
