Re: Big Grove Wort Rally and Pour Event

It all depends on if I have to attend a meeting that morning in IC. I would say 3 is a safe bet. but it could be much earlier than that depending on my morning schedule. I'll let you know when I know more

Re: Big Grove Wort Rally and Pour Event

Hey guys, I think I'll be the one making your wort. Just come to the back brewery door. I'll be here most of the day til around 6. Let's try to get the wort picked up by then. If I need to stay later, let me know, we can try to work something out.

Adopted Bastard

For those I didn't get a chance to talk to tonight, I want to bring attention to an event we're (Big Grove) doing tomorrow in Solon. We were selected to be a part of the "Bastard Hits the Road" program. We will be releasing our version of the Arrogant Bastard Ale tomorrow. I'll be around t...

Re: Convenience smokers

Thanks for the perspective Tom. Chris, I may take you up on that. I will have to get permission from the boss. By convenience I just mean being able to set it up, and not having to babysit it. So something with automatic temp control.

Convenience smokers

Hey, I enjoy BBQ, but it's just a hobby I dabble in. My horizontal smoker is just too much work, especially now that my free time has been greatly reduced. I'm hoping you guys can help me decide on a new smoker. More of the set it and forget it style. I would like something I can set up, go knock ou...

Re: FS - "Vintage" PID

Lee, would it run a HLT where absolute precision isn't critical? I'm thinking of moving my current PID to the RIMS tube, and getting another got the HLT.

Does it come with the thermocouple?

The plan is to do regular events at the brewery, but not have a full-time tap room.

I have a Hop Rocket you can use, I'm hoping to knock out a couple brews soon. What timeframe would you need it?
