NHC 2011!! Who is Step'in up!
OK, I'm in. I will need to keep expensed low as possible, so if I can share a room with someone that would be great.
Tony and Jim, are you flying out on Wednesday or Thursday? I figure the BN crew will likely have a party Wednesday night again, and it could be huge since it's very close to home for them.

Yep they are, it will be done with More Beer this year. I do not think they have anounced a date yet, but would most likely have to be on Wed to avoid conflicting with NHC activities.carrisr wrote:OK, I'm in. That was one of the best times this year as they had the best offerings. The food was ok.
Yeah, I'm flying out Wednesday so I can attend the Bash again (hoping its that night!).

I'm flying in on the weekend before the conference to visit with the in-laws. I'll be checking into the hotel on Wednesday, 6/15 and out on Sunday, 6/19. I'm counting on a party on Wednesday!!carrisr wrote:OK, I'm in. I will need to keep expensed low as possible, so if I can share a room with someone that would be great.

Our Former President Mr Papkin and my Brother Greg are also going. Looks like it should be a great party. We are not sure if we are staying in the convention hotel or across the street yet the Best Western. They are out of the $129.00 a night rooms, now up to $149.00 a night. We booked the BW (549 ft way according to Google) for $92 a night. For those who went last year...was it a huge benefit to stay in the conference hotel vs a hotel near by (within walking distance)? Comes out to $300+ difference between the two hotels.

As long as you are across the street I would go for saving the money. We hung out at the conference hotel and would stumble across the street at the end of the night. I am guessing you won't be the only drunks staying at BW so you should fit in.

I kinda of wish we would have been able to stay at the conference hotel this past year. It wasn't terrible staying at the other, but there are late nights every night, and you end up going back and forth more then I thought we would. So we made probably 4 trips back and forth each day. The one upside I found was that our hotel seemed much nicer then the conference hotel.Matt F wrote:As long as you are across the street I would go for saving the money. If people need room I have a room and will be there by myself, so if one or 2 of your party wish to split a room with me, I would be willing.

Oh, I didn’t know you were going to conference. I thought you couldn’t go. Since you are now with child again, will that impact the trip?
