I can't believe those Devil Dancing Dirty Bastards won't just come out and tell us who it is.

KJ, you looking for an excuse to get out of the house and hang out at the store on the weekend nights? Haha.

Test is at Fleck sales warehouse next Monday at 6:00 pm

From what I know, it’s a 50 question, short answer. You will need to know everything from BJCP, to brewing recipes, beer brands, to I think history on flecks. But I’m not entirely positive. If you pass that, then you have to come back another week to take a tasting portion, which I didn’t get any details on.

Again, from what I know he is looking for six folks to work between IC and CR, and would work mostly thurs-sat.

The more I think about it, he seems to be looking for a complete beer geek, with little weekend social responsibilities and either no family or one that looks forward to kicking the beer geek out the door.

Good luck.

Any more info on the written test?
Where and when? What should I study this weekend? I think I'm going to give it a shot.

From my point of view he seemed to downplay the difficulty of the test a little. So I guess we'll see. BTW, the hours on Saturdays were 11am to 2 or 3 pm, so no Sat evenings. They are shooting for peak traffic times. He's also a little flexible on times, as he understands almost everyone has day jobs.

I also needs people to RSVP for the warehouse tour and test on the 21st. If anyone is interested in going that didn't make it on Monday, PM one of us who attended and we'll give you his contact info so you can introduce yourself. I don't like posting other people's emails etc without their permission.

As for the mentioned brewery, he didn't indicate that it was some big secret, but it's a ways off (September-ish) so there's no point in making any announcements. From my own knowledge the brewery is in the middle of a major brewhouse expansion, so until that is running I would imagine nothing is certain. I asked him a point-blank question and he didn't hesitate to give his answer.

Has anybody heard anything from this? I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't make the cut.

Yeah, Chad sent out an email stating that we (as a group) did well above the average. Since you did not make it to the first meeting you probably didn't get on the email list. Send me a PM with your email address and I will send it to chad to update his master list with your email.
