BUMMER.

I just checked my work calendar and I am out of town on business all that week, unless we'd be willing to move the meeting back to the 22nd?

But, I'll see some of you at the Benz Fest on the 10th.

JJ: Glad to hear that you are interested in joining the club. Dues are $20 a year and you can pay that at the next club meeting, May 15th. You can give me a call at 360-7996 if you have any other questions.

Cannot Host Meeting

Post by Mark R »

I unfortunately have to withdraw from hosting the meeting next week. My situation at work has me covering for someone next week and I won't know for sure when I will be home until I actually leave. Tonite as an example I got home at 9. Is anyone else able to host?

I will cut the cheese. My wife says I'm an expert at it. Not sure she likes it though.

I will probably bring a dip of some kind. I'm hoping it will be Travis.

Dip

Post by Lower Case T »

Wait: Am I the dip, or is it Big T? What kind of dip am I?

It was great to see every body at the benz beer fest. Thanks for all your help!

I would love to come to the meeting, but I don't think Jeremy will let me in his house.

OK, I'll pick up a nice sixer of Miller Chill! And for dessert: Wait for it....

MGD Light, with only 64 calories per bottle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I would have smuggled that Dark Lord out of the fest before we had to go and drink it.

I'll be there and will bring a dessert of some kind. Thanks for hosting again. We should decide on a beer style for this month. Since its summer (spring?, really late fall??) how about Maibocks, kolsch's, alt beers, hefe's, golden ales, ambers, stuff like that? I know that not many of us brew those kinds of beers, so bring a commercial beer plus some of your home brew. It really doesn't matter, does it?

Jeremy, are you going to post a public message for the meeting, or would you rather prefer to keep that among the club? For the people who signed up on the list, I can send an e-mail to them if you don't want to post a public message giving your address. Let me know. Thanks.

I will send out an email to the group.

Summer beers sound good. I have a wit and hefe that I can bring.

The style for this month previously selected was IPA's. We had a pale ale competition last month and IPAs will be the style for this month. Larry will be getting a few calibration examples for the meeting. I have a pale ale I will keg tonight and force carbonate for the event. Should be close to ready by the next meeting.

Hey Larry,

This is just a written confirmation per our discussion on the phone last night. Feel free to send my address via email for the meeting to the sign ups from the Benz beer fest this past weekend. Don't want to make a public post then all those crazy female stalkers I have will show up to the meeting! ha ha LOL!
