Last night I drank at Naja's Place right on the beach at Redondo Beach. Got to witness a media frenzy over the millions of dead fish in the bay. Made some national news blurbs. The bar is great! Average bar food, good fries, but great beer list. They have 88 taps and many I had never tried. One I had tried before but got another anyway, 2008 Rodenbach Grand Cru. You folks that went to the BN party should remember that beer. Very nice. I also had two Deschutes beers, Hop in the Dark IPA and Black Butte XXI. Hop in the Dark is a well recognized Cascadian Dark IPA. It is very good, nice marriage of dark malt flavor and hoppiness. The Black Butte XXI is an imperial version of their Black Butte Porter and aged in bourbon barrels. It was fantastic. Have a good meeting.
