Peace Tree and Tank 7 at Zeppelins

Post by kurtford »

I was at Zeppelins last night they had Boulevard's Tank 7 on tap and 4 Peacetree beers on tap also(I had the Imperial stout). I know that on sundays they have buy one, get one free happy hour specials between 4 and 6 I believe. As for the rest of the week, I'm not sure what their happy hour specials are.
Beer! It's not just for breakfast anymore!

Zeppelins has, for CR, a good combination of good food and beer. Just wish they were cheaper, but you can't complain but so much.
Parlor City in New Bo district has really upped their beer selection as well. I was there Sunday at 9:00 am on my bicycle and only had iced tea, but they has Peacetree, Bells (3 or 4 varieties), and Matlida on tap, and I think I saw a Rogue tap as well, along w/ several others. I definitely plan to check them out. They installed a bunch more taps to accomodate them all. As an aside, their breakfast menu is nothing to write home about.
It's about time we started getting some decent beer on tap around town.

I've never been to Parlor City but I'm definitely going to have to stop out for a few beers sometime.

had to try sooner rather than later.  They have 2-hearted on tap, as well as the oarsman-- I haven't had that one before.  It's got a bit of a lactic thing going on - it's quite yummy.  Bartender dude says that's his fave of the "new" beers they've got on tap.  It was kind of interesting overhearing 2 big-haired chicks discussing the merits of the different Bell's beers.

Actually while they don't have a lot on the breakfast menu it is quite good and cheap. Plus they have a bloody mary bar for the ladies or lady men.

Wow.. you must drink straight Jack for breakfast tough guy.. I personally think a bloody with some Tabasco, A1 and a slab of beef (jerky) in the morn might possibly be one of the worlds best breakfast. I’ll let the wife drink the mimosa.

There is a group Ride every Wed and Thursday. The Wed one starts at Mahoneys and the route is either North or South. If South then Parlor is one of the stops however Ely and/or Swisher is a stop as well since the weather is nice and nights are longer. Thurdays start at Primetime and usually head South into Czech town and eventually Parlor city.

And I am not a fan of tomatoes - hence the dislike of bloodys. My wife likes them though and so do most of her girlfriends. I would rather have a Coffee Bender.
