mystery hops

So a friend of mine at work got some hop plants from the farmer's market a couple years back. He's been growing them along a fence, so not up a trellis or anything. he's got a fair number of good cones on them, and said I could have them if I wanted. Unfortunately, the tag on the plant simply says "hop plant." In doing some quick googling, it looks like there might be no way to nail down exactly what type of hop they are. I'm gonna harvest em anyway. Then at some point I might make a small extract brew using something I have on hand as a bittering hop, then add some of these mystery hops as an aroma hop. We'll see how it turns out.
