2011 Independence Brew-B-Q
Derek, I’m all ready under the assumption CRAZE will get the shelter for the demo.. so I’m not sure we need to show up at the crack of dawn to get a spot, doesn’t the event all ready have us at a designated location. This is typical of many other events, but I’m not sure they are that organized.
YES, lets get at least one small tub of ice or sorts would be great for any growlers, bottles, or just need for ice.

CRAZE is putting on the homebrew demonstration at 11:30.
Jim has mentioned getting up there early to get the prime real estate. There's one small shelter with a concrete pad (assuming it's in the same location as last year), but worst case, we'll set up in the grass and there'll be canopies.
Tickets and glasses will not be an issue. They want this to be a positive experience for us. If you are a Beer Nuts member and are bringing or pouring beer, they'll let you in and provide you with a glass. If you want to bring your own, that's cool too.
Is there anything we need the Brew-B-Q to provide for us other than shade and ice? Do we need a tub or two to hold ice?

I've got a funeral to attend in the late morning, so I'm going to have to haul the bar out early regardless. I'll probably need to set it up around 9:30 or 10, to be able to make the funeral.

For those not familiar with Independence. There is a river side camp ground a mile from the Brew-B-Que park on the south side of town. There is also a county park called Three Elms that is a little further down river with two very nice sandbars for camping. Had some pretty nice parties on those sandbars years ago. Need a canoe there though.

Going back over my original "to do" list, we still have a couple of outstanding items:
CO2 & regulator - who's bringing it?
I have Tom's chill plate, don't we need another one? Coolers to put them in?
Didn't we borrowed keg connections last time for Benz, are we OK there?
Jim, do you need any help setting up if you go up that early? It does have the advantage that if you're missing anything, you can contact one of us and we can bring it when we drive up later.
Lastly, speaking of driving up, are we still thinking about rendezvousing at 3rd Base to car pool? What time?

I've got the club's chill plate.
I've got the regulator. I was going to get the co2 from Karl, but i don't know if I'll be able to catch him. Anyone else able to bring a tank?
We should be good for connectors.

I know many of us are showing up relatively early to this event, but I’m kind of hoping someone is showing up a little later and we can get their digits in case there is something we forget and its possible for them to get it since were not close to home.
Or maybe someone just brings the Duct tape and it will fix any woes.

I was thinking of having lunch at 3BB prior to leaving for Independence about 12:45. I can take 3 in addition to myself.

LCT
Thanks for the update, Pottsie
LCT - are you pouring at this event?
If not, we'll swing by 3BB around lunchtime on Saturday (see Jim's post) and get the tank then.
JimF - I'll take one of those seats. Noon-ish for lunch sounds good. Lite snack for the road, don't want to fill up too much and not have room for the Q!!

Beer Line Cleaner
I cleaned the tap lines right after the last event, but I thought I'd clean them again tonight.
If I flush them with BLC, do I need to rinse them afterwards? Or do we just sacrifice a few ounces out of each line after we hook up the beer?

We need someone to bring a keg of water, please.
I missed one nasty line that we need to flush.
