Yummy beers at 3BB tonight?

Post by carrisr »

Anyone game for trying the Ayinger October and other tasty sounding beers at Third Base tonight? I'll probably shoot for around 5:30 unless another time works better for someone. All these posts by Travis are getting my pretty excited. He sure knows how to talk sexy to us Beer Nuts! :)

I'll try to stop by.  That would be three nights in a row for me, though....

Would like too, but can't make it tonight. I am digging post holes to get ready to add steps to my deck this weekend.

Wish I could, but it is our anniversary and we are going out to dinner.

I can think of no finer place to take your wife for an anniversary supper, than 3BB....

Wow, I gotta say thanks to Travis S. for a great evening of beer! I got to try samples of Peace Tree Kolsh, two 3B single hop APA's, then moved on to a pint of Ayinger Octoberfest which was super delicious. Then we split a bottle of the JP Bam Beir followed by a bottle of Petrus Reserve. The fact that I had all of these at one bar in CR is mind-blowing. Not to mention I could have had (if my wife was there to drive home) Expedition Stout on tap as well! Holy cow!

So big thanks to Travis for sticking his neck out there by convincing the owners to give these a try. I hope lots of other people enjoy the shit out of the super beer list you're putting together. I can't wait to try the Celebration on tap!

I'm with Randy on this one. The E.S. Bam was nice and the Petrus was truly awesome!

Sorry that I missed you guys last night, but I was there after the Benz tasting, which was really good - BTW. Did hook up with Clint and Nick, though for Ayinger.

Seeing that the Celebration is now tapped, thinking about heading over there in a bit. 3rd night in a row for me, too, Pottsie, but where's the downside??

I made it there after leaving 3BB right when they were closing up. I got to taste the Potosi Cave Ale. The NB guy was gone already, sigh.

I did! (4 days in a row, that is)

Had fun with LCT and his "experiments" and I'm not talking about his pickle! (You had to be there!)
