Grain order from North Country Malts (with THIRSTY group)

Post by pete »

The Iowas city Brew Club is considering a grain order from North Country Malts, in order to purchase some grains not available thru Briess.. here is their blurb:

Above is a link to North Country Malt Supply. We talked at the St Pattie's meeting last Saturday about making a group order to take advantage of their VERY low prices on grain. Kevin graciously did the legwork and found that if we order 40 bags of grain (a pallet), the cost for shipping would be under $4 per bag. Considering that they have MO and many other imported malts for under $30/bag, that would be a steal! For their prices, see the link "Download Catalog" on the left side of the page linked above.

SO, if you are looking to stock up for the season NOW IS THE TIME.

Pete - Please pass this along to the CR Homebrew club to see if they would like to participate. We would really appreciate it if you could be their point of contact for this!

Once we get to 40 bags, we'll make the order.

*********************************************

I think they want to finalize the order within 2 weeks..if anyone is interested, let me know & I will co-ordinate your orders with them.

So did the last malt order go off successfully? I could use about 4 sacks of Thomas Fawcett M.O. if there's another pallet order coming up from North Country.
