I actually think he is making it required for his staff to attend but I asked him numbers from my work address which I will post tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your input and eventual participation!!

Beer Tasting/Training @ Bricks on Sunday Jan 8th

Post by Mr T »

Tom I’m flattered you know my obscure beer habits.. and OE might be the beer I know best how to serve.. ice cold, out of the bottle in a bag. If they start carrying that at Bricks, I better show them the proper way to wrap your 40.. haha.

1-4 will work for me. As Randy said though, it's more important when the sataff will be there. And Travis, BJCP judge or not, no can highlight the finer points of Olde English and Grain Belt Premium better then you.

I'm dont know everything but I'd be down to help out some if we need more peeps.

Since they are not brewing thier own beer I think their eyes would glaze over if you start talking about off tastes. Just my $0.02.

Great Job, Randy!

We had fun doing this and the Bricks crew really seemed to enjoy us doing it, too (especially the beer drinking part)!! Several of the Staff said that they'd drop by during our upcoming Club meeting to check us out more (and sample some homebrews!)

Yeah.. they were trying to get a head count so i guessed around 25 since this is the clubs first bar meeting in a long time and there could be some bricks staff. Hopefully we blow the lid off my estimate.

Thanks to all that contributed at bricks... i enjoyed listening in and think this was a good relationship builder between the club and bricks. I wish more establishments had this much enthusiasm for beer.
