Dear members,
I just talked with Al Meyer, who has a small start up winery, Deja Vine, in Whittier (951 County Home Road - 1/4 mile past the Whittier stop sign on the left, down a long gravel drive). He pressed 80 gallons of cider today and is taking good care of it. He will pump it off the sediment tomorrow evening, and would like to get rid of about half of it. He said he will let it go cheap! If anyone is interested in making hard cider, you will have to show up with your fermenter. I plan to take home at least 10 gallons.

The home telephone number found in the telephone book:
Al and Julie Meyer 854-6290.
When Al said "cheap" I assumed that he would almost give it away rather than let it go bad. They do the apples for family and friends, not for money, and they had no idea they were going to get 80 gallons.
