Swagelok vs Compression fitting

The Swagelok is essentially a compression fitting. I use them as the bulkhead in my mash tun and also as a weldless fittings for both kettles and liquor tanks. I went with them vs. the typical brass compression fitting because they are SS and will last forever. I think that is the main selling point for them as they are often used in high pressure and heat environments as well as with corrosive liquids.
I'm out of town right now but when I get home Friday I could take a picture of one "exploded" so you could see all the part involved if you are interested. If memory serves there is one more ring that lines up the tubing compared to a typical compression fitting.
