Duluth getting a ton of new breweries

Post by Matt F »

I really like Duluth and this just makes it that much cooler. Going to have to increase the number of days in Duluth for those Boundary Waters trips. Could make for a cool Minnesota Weekend Beer tour too. Especially when Surly gets their destination brewery open. Could be a multi-day trip similar to the Madison Beer trip I put together in 2008 for the brew club. Will have to check it out when these places get up an running.

That Mad City brew cruise was awesome. John and I had an excellent time, even without going to the Shitty Barn Party! Definitely into another road trip once the travelling weather gets better.

The Wisconsin trip is a really good fit because of proximity. The twin cities are not too much further and we may be able to arrange something cool for a Surly tour. I think a Twin Cities/Duluth trip will be a good weekend excursion in a year or so. I will keep my eye on it.
