I noticed today that US Plastics sells HDPE bucket lids with large spouts.

Have any of you guys ever tried using a bucket lid like this with a blowoff tube? I've been using 1/2" ID vinyl tubing with the base of a 3-piece airlock to form a blow-off airlock, but it seems like too small of a hole and is capable of clogging.
Unless I hear a compelling reason not to, I'm going to pick up a couple of the lids and try them out. If anyone else wants one, let me know.

I use the same thing you do right now except I cut the bottom off of the 3 piece airlock so it opens up the airway. I haven't had any issues...
