$500 is a higher tag, but the thing is 10' apparently! Could work for someones all electric setup.

If you need a cheap hood, I have a regular white oven hood with the fan and stuff anyone can have for free. May work for moisture but not for venting gas. I tried. All it is missing is the cord.

If you want to make a cheap hood, mine is a 2' x 4' hood made out of galvanized rectangle ductwork. Less than $10 invested in that. The fan is out of a retired furnace. That thing can move some air!
