Tom,
I can't make it to the meeting tonight (almost certain) I'd like to get you a check on Saturday if that would work for you?

Tom -

Any update on when the grain will be in? I don't have access to the truck I had, but I do have the highlander which a we can use to load some bags if we need more.

I talked to Chris last week. He thought a couple more weeks. They order every 4-6 weeks and we had just missed the last one.

Any word on the grain order? I have like 6 beers waiting in the chute for this spring and am itching to brew!

I stopped in again today to check on the grain order. I missed Chris (again), but was told I should remind him as an order just came in today. I sent him an email about an update. I'll let everyone know what I hear back.

Well, it sounds like Chris doesn't remember me giving him a grain order. I gave him a new copy and it should be here the middle of March. Sorry about the delay.

I've talked with Jake from Backpocket and he seems very receptive to selling us grain. I don't know all the details yet, but sounded like something to follow up on. Once the brewery opens I'll get more info.

I'm expecting an email any day now. I'm busy tonight, but I'll stop tomorrow and see what I can find out.

I am out of town for the next week and a half...If the grain order gets in, can I work something out with someone for pick-up? Or can the bags just be left at Millstream til I get back? I have 10 bags, so it's definitely a fair bit of malt to lug around. I can work something out with my dad to bring his truck, but someone might have to help him load up.

I am open to suggestions.

I don't have the capability to haul an extra 10 bags but I'd be happy to help him load your grain into his truck. On Mar 21, 2012 10:23 AM, "quinton" <brew-members@crbeernuts.org (brew-members@crbeernuts.org)> wrote:

Well, after much anticipation, some "slight" delays, and a few headaches here we go. It looks like we will pick up the grain on April 7th. I'll figure out the totals and would like paid on the day we go or before. Here's what Chris had to say.

Hi Tom,

Your malt should be in next Friday at the earliest. I will not have it
sorted out until the following Monday however. The total came up to $2840;

The smoked malt = $45/bag
The following = $30/bag;
Carapils
Cara 20L
Cara 80L
Cara 120L
CaraMunich 60L
Victory
Chocolate
Roasted

Everything else was $25/bag

Sorry it took so long,
Chris Priebe

Um, hate to be a stinker but this is Easter weekend and I most likely will not be around. Probably hanging with the in-laws in Jesup or Rochester, MN. I would be happy to pick it up any night the following week if someone would get it for me?

I hate to say it but I'm going to be out of town too. I'll be visiting family in South Dakota on the Easter weekend. Is there anyone that can pick up my 4 bags of grain and hold them until Monday or Tuesday?
