Jesus must have been a yeast. Who else could turn water into wine?

Hello, I'd like to join the Cedar Rapids Beer Nuts. I've been brewing for about 2 years, always extract, and would like to really hit it hard this year. I'll be at Benz for the beer tasting. Maybe I'll run into some Beer Nuts.

Benz Beer Tasting

Post by JimPotts »

Welcome! There's almost always a few of us attending the events and Benz, and usually we try to wear our club shirts. So please come up and say hi.

Also, if you can make it, please come to our next meeting on Feb 19. Details should be posted shortly.

Looks like I won't make it to Benz tonight after all. I have to go back in to work at 6:30 for a couple of hours to teach a make-up class. They kinda frown :x on drinking and coming straight to work, that whole Fitness-for-Duty thing that the Feds put on us nuclear workers.

Have one for me, preferably a Belgian!

The Benz tasting was good, and the food was good too. (Buffalo chicken dip) I got to meet some folks, and got a tip for my next brew.

What do you teach? I didn't notice you wearing make-up when I saw you last. Maybe that's why you are teaching the class. :D

Actually, I teach a 2 hour class to the reactor operators on federal rules, regulations, and requirements that apply at the nukahla plant.
