Voting and committee volunteers for CRBeerNuts Fest

Post by kjball »

Tim had most of the info we know now in his post, so I'm not going to repost all that.
Here's what We need to do first: vote as a club to approve us having a beer fest.
If you want to volunteer to be on the planning committee, please do so in this thread. This is going to be a lot of work, but we have a lot of good members itching to be more active.
The poll will be open through the Monday, please pass the word to those who weren't at last night's meeting.

I'll volunteer to be on the committee. I've never organized an event, but I have been to quite a few.

Tasting Event Committee

Post by carrisr »

OK, so far we have the following for the event committee:

Justin
Tom B
Kent
Steven
Randy

If anyone else wants to help please step forward. For those who have expressed interest: we need to set a meeting ASAP to get the ball rolling. What days/times work best for everyone. I'm pretty flexible when I'm not on the road for work.

I'm not sure I'll be able to be on the comittee. Between work and vacation I won't have much free time for the next 3 weeks. I'm still more then willing to help with the event any way I can.

It turns out a wedding I'm supposed to be at that day is totally going to rain on my parade. I just found out it's not optional to not show up at least at some point.

I'm on the fence about the fest attendance but will certainly help with the planning.

OK folks, if you want to be on the tasting event committee, now is the time you must speak up. So far we have:

Randy
Tim
Steven ??
Justin
mjensen

Anyone else? I'm not talking about volunteers for the day of the event. This is for people who will be able to help plan this and take on various projects/tasks to make the event happen. We need people to step up.
