I am up for a committee meeting almost any night this week. We really need to get this going. We are already behind.

Tim, can you meet tonight, say 7 or 7:30? Two of us have already said we're available. If so, mjensen, can you post your address?

Otherwise, I'm here all week so I can make any night work.

Beer Sign Up for October 2012 Event

Post by mjensen52402 »

I have created a sign up on signupgenius.comfor the beers being brewed for the October 13th event. I have entered all of the beers that were mentioned in the forum. The list represents the major categories from the BJCP. The amounts of each style can be adjusted, and every style does not need to be filled.

If you have taken your beer from "undecided" to a particular style please update it on signupgenius.
I used forum names to keep you anonymous, but may need to enter your email address to grant you full access. If so please email me at the address below

To find the sign up go to signupgenius.com and enter my email address (markjensen20@gmail.com). The password to access the list is "beerme".

As we get more organized and start identifying tasks that will need to be done before, during and after the event, another sign up will be posted for people to sign up for specific duties.

Dave, do you want to put a link on the website that takes people directly to the signup?

Here's a sample ticket. I haven't placed the order yet but it looks like if we get nice ones they're about $90 shipped for 500. If we prefer plain old black and white the cost is about half that.

Nice work, guys
Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road

I talked to Chris at Zin's tonight. He said that they would be up for bringing the food cart to festival. If that works I'll give him all the details.

On a side note,, he asked if the club would be interested in doing a homebrew beer tasting with them. It would be a much smaller, upscale event, possibly done with beer ingredient food.

Hey guys, any input as to wether you want Nate's food stand at the festival? I'll be talking to him again on Thursday and I would like to let them know either way on this.
