Oh. You haven't met Francis yet. He recently built his own stainless conical (and has never brewed yet). That guy has just the right level of awesome and crazy to become a legend in the beer nuts. I've got two 7.2 gallon SS conical fermenters, one from Stout and one from a guy that sells on ebay from time to time. I like them both for different reasons; the one I got on ebay was a flat out steal. It works great, but the guy has raised his starting bid to close to that of Stout. The one I got from Stout is noticeably better quality. As Matt said, they are great for harvesting yeast and make a secondary completely unnecessary. If you want to take a look before you decide, let me know.
