February meeting at Bricks

Post by carrisr »

Our usual club meeting for February will once again be a Brick's in downtown CR. The date is Thursday, 2/21 at 7pm. If you want to come down earlier for food there will surely be a few of us there after 6.

First time

Post by JaredAdam »

Hey guys, I'm new to the Beer Nuts forum, and thought I'd drop in on Thursday to introduce myself. I live in North Liberty and have been home brewing for a few years. I jumped right into all-grain and haven't looked back. Great to see a local club this active!

I don't have anything bottled up at the moment to bring to the meeting, but I have what will soon be a nut brown ale in secondary and a munich dunkel that has been lagering for about a week. Should have some stuff to share at the March meeting.

Looking forward to Thursday! :D

Last I heard they were due in March.

What's the next comp category?  I think I heard someone say it was Saison, probably due in June.

Steven,
Are those the Judging or turn-in? I think the turn in for Dunkels is the March meeting so they can be judged in April.

You missed it. It was epic. We forged new ideas that will change the face of home brewing forever.
