October Meeting

The October Meeting will be at my house and will be a Porter club competition. Bring your porter or your favorite commercial version.
7pm to ????

Directions:
From wherever you are, take either 42nd street or Glass Rd to Wenig Road (kennedy high school). From 42/wenig go south and from Glass/wenig go North to Amber Dr. Turn on Amber (T intersection) and go one block to Tanager and turn right (north). My house is the 3rd house on the left (green) with the uphill driveway (3719 tanager dr NE for mapquest fans). We have dogs, so if you have allergies take your meds.

For the meeting I will be smoking a beef brisket this weekend while drinking OFallon Smoked Porter. If you are vegetarian this will be served with homeade bread and the customary cheese plate. Dessert will be my Smashed Pumpkin Beer which came out almost drinkable....

The October meeting is this thursday October 19th.

Nov 4th is the TAFTHBD at Brians house - unfortunately the same day as the Thirsty comp

Great meeting last night. A big thanks to the host and hostess Mark and Abby. The brisket and snacks were great. Looking forward to the minutes Mark.
