copy/paste from the Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce FB posting. Sounds like fun, but they are wanting some direction and I have never done such a thing. Any help is appreciated.
Chamber is working on a FUN NEW event!! We are looking for local (and not so local if they want) Micro Brewers -- people that Brew their own beer-- to participate in a golf tournament on June 29th! We hope to place a micro brewer at each hole for tasting purposes -- and then everyone gets to vote on their favorite brew! There will be a winning brewer -- with an award, and prize money! If you know someone that is a micro-brewer that may want to participate in this event -- pass this along and let us know!
Ok, what kind of voting categories would want to see? Best overall of course, but what kinds of beer how many kinds would you want to have there for tasting? Also, we are thinking about a $25 registration and capping the number of kinds of beer you can enter. You would get a T-shirt and a koozie with that entry fee. We would provide the tasting cups to keep everything fair. Since this is our first time doing this, we need some direction! Advice, ideas, and help is appreciated!!
