Moving to Twin Cities

Post by hoboscratch »

Guys, I haven't been very active in the club for the past 6-8 months or so, I've been ridiculously busy with work and home life. In any case, I've accepted a job in St. Paul and will be starting there in about a month. So I'm basically going to be even busier trying to get ready to move in time.

I wanted to say that for all the events and meetings I was a part of, I really enjoyed. I had a good time meeting and hanging out with you guys and there was never a shortage of entertainment during those times, that's for certain. I'll be sure to drink as much Surly as possible for all of you...

And I definitely enjoyed puking and passing out at your place, Franklin. I wish I could have done that more often.

I wish you could have puked at my place more often too. I will have to look you up when I am in the cities. Good luck with the move.

Sorry to see you go, but at least you're moving to a pretty cool area.

Whereabouts will you be living?

I'll be working near downtown St Paul, not far from the Northern Brewer store. Dave had mentioned a good brewery/restaurant near there, I don't remember what it's called.

We're going up this weekend to look at a few rentals, primarily in the Eagan, Apple Valley, Lakeville area. There were a couple places in Hastings that were nice but that's a little ways out. Its happening fast and its going to be a whirlwind...

Bunch of good beer bars around there like the Happy Gnome and Muddy Pig. Enjoy!

Don't miss The Blue Door for some killer Jucy Lucy's burgers and Pizza Luce for some great pizza and beer pairings. The twin cities is really great. I would live there if I had to move to a big city. Good luck, hey!
