NewBo BBQ and brew

I think Entry 1 won because they lasted the whole event.  If I'm thinking of the right one.  They were set up in numerical order, right?

Not that there was anything wrong with #1.  It was the barleywine, right?

And Kent got first place in the beers evaluated by the official judges. I took second and Clint took third. Not sure after that but the Beer Nuts went 1-2-3.

I did not fare so well in people's choice. Of course I ran out of beer before half the people got there. I will have to keep you folks with big cups away from my keg next time.

I was right next to #1 and could not believe how many people liked it. It was an Old Ale with Stirling (sic) hops. Over-hopped and fuselly for 8.5% was my take.

I believe it placed 9th overall and was being poured by a volunteer guy who was a nice dude. Everyone has different taste buds I suppose.

I am disappointed they were still selling $25 tickets when there were only 3 beers left pouring at 5pm. I didn't stay much past 5:30.
