Festival Web App

Post by carrisr »

Last year Dave R set up a very nice online app for people to register their beers. He's offered to set it up for this year's festival and wants to know if we need or would like any changes. Here's the link:

Please look it over and share your thoughts.

I still like this app. Let's archive last years and make it available again if we can.

App should be ready. You can start entering beers whenever. Your log in info is the same as last year. You can use the reset password links if you forgot your log in info.

I added the ability to let a user rate/review a beer. It goes off of session id and you can only see it via the mobile view. You can go ahead and add ratings and reviews if you'd like, I plan to wipe them all the night before the festival.

Let me know if there are any other features you'd like added and if there are any users that need to be admins.

I tried to reset my password and received a "something went wrong" notification.

Seem to have hit a bug. When I try to edit any beer, the BJCP dropdown gets populated with "Yes" and "No" instead of the styles.

Worked for me this morning when I put in my "Ich bin ein Berliner" beer.

Try it out again. Let me know if you find any more unintended features.
