Tickets, posters and wristbands came in yesterday. I'm dropping off tickets at BIY and Benz tonight and requesting they post Facebook teasers that tix are available.

If you want posters to put up at work or places around town please let me know. I will have plenty to go around at the meeting next week and can get them to you sooner if needed.

If you would like to reserve or pre-sell tickets for co-workers, friends or family please let me know as well. We have 750 available.

We may soon be offering ticket pre-sales via Dwolla as a "Will-Call" item so we dont' have to keep track of manual tickets. Once people show up via the pre-sale their name will be on the list and we just mark them off.

BeerSchwing lanyards should be showing up to Benz soon if they haven't already.

As I recall we are doing an Independent table for people not part of a club who want to serve their beer.
I have one, and maybe two people, interested in serving at that table. Do they need to contact a certain person ahead of time or do they just show up with their beer? I hope to know for certain if they want to participate in the next couple days. I was also asked if they had to buy a ticket if the are serving.
It pays off to tell everyone you know about this cool event. That is how I found out this co-wrkers husband is a brewer.

We do have an independent table. Right now, there is really not a way for independents to sign up. We'll figure something out within the next few days. Independents who bring beer to pour will get a free entry.

I know of at least one independent as well, maybe 2.

Is the planning meeting still tomorrow at 3rd Base? I will sign up to help and will get a poster, if available tomorrow. I assume spouses can help at the festival also?

Yes, the last planning meeting will be tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct 2nd) @ 3BB.

One of the topics on the table is the use of non-club member volunteers. The concern is liability. Club members are covered by our bylaws, but not volunteers.

REMINDER: Members can sign up for specific tasks in the database, the link is in the "Festival Task Sign Up" folder, in this Forum.

I did not have time to put forth my opinion on the canopy last night as I had to get back to work. I do like my 10x20 canopy but it takes 2 people to carry it as it is heavy. It is best to have 3-4 people to help set it up (witsh we almost always have) and there are a lot of parts to it that I have found can get lost. The box it come in dose not last and on will have to be made. just my two cents but I would get the 12'x12' on at dicks. see below link
