September Meeting

Post by carrisr »

Our monthly meeting will be held on September 19th at the Sag Wagon Deli & Brew from 7pm to 10pm. Anyone wanting to learn more about homebrewing beer, cider, and mead are welcome.

The Cedar Rapids Beer Nuts holds meetings every month except December. They are held on the Third Thursday at various bars around the area.

Depending on the 40% chance of rain I was going to ride from Newbo(have a beer a Parlor City) then go to Sag Wagon. Was just wondering if anyone was planning on going to the meeting early or doing anything before the meeting.

Hi all. I was hoping to make the meeting to talk about setting up a beer edu table like I did last year. It's not going to happen do to other obligations.
I plan on having a blonde and a wheat, each done with different yeasts for people to try and compare. If anyone else would like to do something along those lines, different yeast or hops or similar styles, feel free to add them in. I only had a growler each last year, but the crowd response was good.

Great meeting, despite the hurricane that forced us inside! We'll definitely keep Sag Wagon on our short list of meeting locations.

Another big WELCOME to all the new members who came last night! Really good turnout and lots of good beers!
