It's pepper time

Post by kjball »

I've got hot peppers. Fatalii, Fish peppers, and jalepenos. Who wants some? I can bring them to the fest if you want me to.

Just to try them, since I've never seen them before - I'd be up for a handful each of the Fatalii and Fish peppers.

My aji plant is going crazy right now with flowers and peppers! So, I hope to get a few more before the first frost!

I'll take some Fatalii. I'd need like a half kilo if you have it to spare. Bright yellow ones for hot sauce.

I will take as many of the fatalii peppers as you would like to get rid of. I love habanero's so looking forward to trying these.

I'll gladly take a handful of any/all of them.

OMF-ingG!! :o

I just made salsa with one of the green Fatalii and homegrown tomatoes - yummy! Also made a batch of hot sauce from the yellow ones - "keell de white people!!!" I've almost stopped sweating, my nose has finally quit running, and my tongue isn't numb anymore. These bad boys are seriously hot!

Plan to use some of the hot sauce in a jerk marinade on some chicken thighs for tonight's grilling adventure! With lots of cold, cold beer!!

nice, I made salsa with them, and yeah....I like to warn people about it.
If I make it to the meeting this week, and that's a big "if" at this point, i'll bring the buckets if anyone else wants any. I really appreciate the flavor of them. Pungent and smoky with a hint of citrus.
