The 2013 Current Standings:

Scot Schaar 30 points
Bradley Penar 16 points
Scott Phillips 14 Points
Aaron Reif 11 points
Berton Whited 11 points
Richard Sadowsky 9 points
Daniel White 7 points
Dustin Borro 4 points
Chris Staub 4 points

These brewers have earned points from placing in at least 2 of the 3 completed contests in the circuit (IBU Open, IA State Fair, MUGZ LOTMW)

Excellent information. I'm ashamed to say I had no idea what was involved to get the IHOTY award.

Wait, when this become a thing again?  THIRSTY said they were resurrecting the award last year but I can't find any records of anyone actually being awarded the designation.  When they didn't hold the THIRSTY Classic at the usual time this year, I just assumed the IHOBTY was being shut down (if it had even really existed last year).

Agree, Lee. It has been rather spotty in recent years. It's hard to get enthused over something that's so sporadic. Another good reason for the Beer Nuts to organize our own sanctioned competition!
