Hub City shindig June 20

Post by TappedOut »

Stopped by Hub City this weekend, and they are planning an event for June 20, apparently with bands, and are looking to have homebrew clubs participate & bring some of their brews. They're still deciding what format it's going to be, but I told them I would pass along the info. I'm pointing them to this site, so we can communicate directly.

BTW, they look to be going great guns with their expansion.

Sounds like a possible club excursion. We'll talk about it at the next meeting, but we can also start a conversation here. Let's get some input.....

I'm still working out the full details but we are planning on having a special section for the home brewers with a free will donation to enter for the attendees. We will have tables set up and a friendly vote for favorite beers. If you guys have any suggestions for that day feel free to post them or email me at brad.knoke@hubcitybrewingcompany.com

We may have clubs coming from LaCrosse and Rochester as well for some tri-state fun.

This could be a good club event, although we will have to recover from the benz fest, (beer supply that is) is Hub City going to be at Benz Fest again this Saturday? We could probably talk more then as well.

I am out. I can only do so many events with my free time and June is a busy month for me with canoe trips and such outside of the beer events. I do not have any beer to give away anyway. I can barley keep my own taps full.

Sounds fun. If anybody does go, you have my full support in spirit.

Sorry, John and I are already booked that day - Pride Day in the Corredor (it's actually in Iowa City).

Anyone going to the Hub city dilly?? Details are thin on the site. Were obviusly missed the mark to come together on this as a club to participate since we were out of the loop for a bit and folks went through qutie a bit of beer at Benz. But seeing if anyone wants to car pool it up to the Hub city deal of if I should even look for you on that day.

I guess I'm out. I get to help set up fireworks for the America, 3 Dog Night concert at Kirkwood. Only bad part is no beer til the clean up is done.
