Any one want a 1/2 working Fisher & Paykel dishwasher

Post by Matt F »

I have a Fisher & Paykel stainless steel double drawer dishwasher available. The top drawer has had a history of problems covered under warranty. It is now giving me an F2 error I have been unable to reslove on my own. Now that the warranty has expired I do not want to pay for a repair. The bottom drawer works fine and always has. I really like the two washer drawer system but have had reliablity issues with this thing. Having four kids we usually load both drawers anyway so I am going back to a more conventional dish washer. Perhaps someone here knows how to fix these things or would be happy with just one functional drawer. I am not ready to give away for free yet but I am willing to entertain offers. Going to see what I can fetch out on the world wide web for a bit first.

It may also be moved to my brew room and become a dishwasher for beer glasses. I wash them by hand now but now I could use a dedicated beer glass cleaner in the washer. Hmmm...

It is a double drawer system so won't fit kegs. Probably use it on gentle cycle for glasses though.

Anybody want this dishwasher for free? You just need to come pick it up. It is a Fisher & Paykel DD603 stainless steel double drawer dishwasher. I thought about using it in the brewery but have decided it just needs to go. Top drawer does not work, bottom drawer worked fine when I uninstalled and has never had a problem. Top drawer has always been problematic. One could take a stab at fixing it and have a high-end dishwasher for cheap. You can also just run the bottom drawer. I don't have a picture of mine but here is a picture of one I found on the web.
