I'm in!! :D

Got the email confirmation to actually buy my ticket. Just went to their website and paid. Got my confirmation number, so I'm all set.

They will be sending out hotel information by Friday (7th). You will only have until the 12th (Wednesday) to book your rooms before they go "public." As Pottsie posted, if you didn't get in on the pre-registration, open registration begins on the 12th also.

Not sure what discussion there has been off line but we may as well start throwing out places we want to go. Founders and Hop Cat are all less than a mile from the conference so are walking distance and will be really busy. Luckily Founders has a large tasting room and everyone in town knows hombrewers are coming. Brewery Vivant is a few miles east of downtown. I figure we can hit Bells without too much trouble. The place I would love to get to is Odd Sides in Grand Haven which is about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids. Would be a nice little road trip. New Holland is also not far away. There are a bunch of other places right in Grand Rapids.

I have another copyright infringement themed beer for the conference. My Up in Smoke Porter makes use of a well known movie poster.

Anyone interest in sharing a room? I'm not interested in sharing a room with more people who than the number of beds in the room...

Oh, there was a bad joke on Walking Dead we may have to figure out how to work in there:

"What's the difference between Beer Nuts and Deer Nuts? Beer Nuts are around 79 cents and Deer Nuts are just under a buck!"

I just found out I will be losing my job on June 30th. I am going to contact AHA to see if I can transfer my NHC registration to another AHA member. Just a heads up. There may be an open slot for this event.

Seems my wife is insisting I go. So, unless I have a new job, that won't let me have days off, I'm still in.
