As announced at the last club meeting, the next Tech Meeting will be a beer judging walkthrough. Since Dan White was the only entrant for the Wit competition, we will be going through the judging process using both his beer and a couple of commercial examples (Hoegaarden, Blanche de Chambly, etc). If you've ever wanted to learn more about how the beer judging process works, this will be a great opportunity.
If anyone would like to volunteer to host the meeting, it would be appreciated. The day and time are flexible.

Re: Beer Judging Tech Meeting
I will volunteer my house/man cave. Let me know when.
Re: Beer Judging Tech Meeting
Excellent. Kent and I are working on some content to guide the conversation and judging so I'll get back to you.
Re: Beer Judging Tech Meeting
The beer judging Tech Meeting will be held this coming Thursday, 13-March, starting at 7:30 pm.
Address: Clint's Man Cave
305 Pine Crest Dr, Robins
We'll be walking through a beer judging of Dan White's club comp Witbier, along with a few commercial examples. This will be a great opportunity to see how beers are judged and get any questions answered you might have about the process.
I'll bring score sheets & some commercial examples of Witbier. Whoever has Dan's entries, please let me know if you can't be there.
For anyone that has never gone through a formal beer judging before, feel free to read up on the process at BJCP.org. This is by no means necessary, but the site is full of great resources. You can read up on the process and even get a detailed style overview of Witbiers.
Look forward to seeing you guys on Thursday night,
Lee
