Surly coming to Iowa

According to El bait shop. They're having a release party on April 3. I'm not sure if they're only going to Des Moines or all or Iowa

That is awesome. Was hoping we would be quick to get some Surly once they were able to expand. I am guessing anything we get will be limited until the new brewery opens in late 2014.

The El Bait Shop thing is a one off party. Kind of a pre-party. No official Iowa release until they ramp up production later this year. I Love Surly.

I visited the brewery two weeks ago. Saturday afternoon at 2:00, tap room was packed! Picked up their new black IPA and some more Abrasive. Still pricey but good! At the tap room I had the 2014 Pentagram, all brett beer. I have a bottle of 2013 in my fridge. The 2014 was good, a touch of sour but still nice and clean.
