I've got those, too. Those, with some cutting oil, made fairly quick work of drilling holes in kegs. Getting the pilot hole in was the biggest pain.

Agreed. Pilot hole takes most work. Once that is in it's easy. Cutting oil, low speed and lots of pressure gets the job done.

Has anyone tried using knockouts with stainless?

They work great in punching holes in electric service boxes. But I have had no experience in using them on stainless.

As stated before, getting the pilot hole in first would be the biggest challenge.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

I've got a stepped bit that I've used for 1 hole if you want to use it. I'm not sure of the max size and I'm not at home to check it right now but I'll offer it as a possible alternative to spending 14.95...
