Water Meter

Post by Sully11 »

Has anyone had to move an outside water meter before? We recently fenced in the back yard and the city wants to move the meter. It's one of the really new ones, a little black oblong box that they just scan I guess.

Do you mean replace the meter or move the existing? I had to get a new meter this last year but when they put it in it was completely wireless, no sensor outside they can drive by in a truck and get a reading

I think mine is a sensor they just scan or something. Regardless, the city is going to come out to move it Wednesday. There isn't a charge, so I'm guessing there isn't a lot involved in moving it
