May 2014 Meeting Minutes

Meeting held at Lion Bridge Brewery - 27 in attendance

Old Business


• Club competitions- reminder

o July turn in is 6B Blonde Ale
o October turn in is 15C Weizenbock

• Grain Order

o We are paid and awaiting confirmation on delivery.
o Shipping is $3.75/bag

• Big Brew Day-

o Four beers brewed - lots of attendee’s.
o Thanks to the members who brought food and drink.

• Benz Fest

o Windfall of $619. Hats and lanyards and hats sold quite a bit.


New Business-

• Welcome to any new attendees

• Upcoming Events

• Club competition- Dark Lager

o We need a date - host, steward and judges. Possibly do this at Lion Bridge.

• May 28th Tech Meeting

o At Lion Bridge- Lee has the details 7PM

• NHC 6-12 to 6-14 – Mashing in Michigan

o Club night is confirmed for Friday night
o Theme is in effect-
 Graphic designers are welcome to step up to help with the theme
o Food – we will likely take a roaster or two of pulled pork BBQ for freebies.
o Club is paying for gas and parking. No van rental.

o Has been cancelled.

o Event slots for home-brewers are still open.
