I sent my paperwork in on July 1 but haven't got anything back yet. I am planning on going to Des Moines on July 19 (Family to the zoo then drop off entries). As long as I'm registered, I'll still go. I will update everyone before the meeting and you can bring your entries there.

I called the State Fair today and they do have me registered and my tags are on the way. I will come to the meeting on Thursday and collect entries. The Fair competition site stated that they will NOT be keeping beer in cold storage, only place them in the fridge the night before judging. Therefore, I am keeping my entries at room temp. I will pack a cooler with Ice packs to help with temperature regulation in my car on Saturday but I will not chill our beers to 40F. It kind of sucks that the beer will not be kept refrigerated...most competitions keep it chilled, right? Anyway, I'll see Clint and Kent on Thursday and if anyone else entered you can bring the entries then.

Clint and Kent, the beers were dropped off with no issues. I actually kept the beers pretty cold in a cooler in the car all day so no worries.
