Grogtags have arrived. They turned out nice.

Here's a tip from the GrogTag sight:
"Crayola Washable Crayons work the best and can be removed with a little water and a sponge. These packs can be found at your local office supply store, Target, Walmart, and Amazon for $3.00-$4.00. We DO NOT recommend dry erase markers. They will leave a residue and reduce the amount of potential uses of each Beer and Wine Label. Dry Erase markers do work on our Keg and Carboy labels, however."

I've tested out the dry erase markers, and like they say above, they do leave behind a very faint stain when washed off, YMMV. I'm going to pick up the washable crayons like they suggest for my use, and would suggest others do that as well.

I will most likely bring a check to the next meeting and pick up there unless I make it out to Randy's Saturday night, which is unlikely.

I sent in a Dwolla payment for 6, presuming there are enough left? I hadn't joined in time for the pre-order.

Sorry for bringing up an old post, but it's germane.

Has anyone found a good non-permanent marker for writing on these damned things?? I've tried both Crayola Washable Markers and Washable Crayons, neither works worth a flying F  ck!

Regular Sharpies work great for putting your name, and any other info, on there that you don't want to change, but need another marker for the beer-specific info.

I agree Tony. Has anyone tried dry-erase markers?

Dry erasers work ok on an empty dry keg, but wipe off too easily

I have the crayons and they stink. Asking people in Micheals, wal mart or JoAnn fabrics if they had grease pencils and I got deer in the headlights stares. That's the only thing I will try next if I can find one without much effort. If that's a bust I will just buy a bulk of toe tags and zip tie them to the handles. I personally am not a fan of these after the fact.
