We're staying put too. We just got one car fixed from the last storm. If it had stopped by mid afternoon I would have considered going, but it's still coming down.

I just came in from this afternoon's chores.

In spite of our best laid plans, we are going to enjoy the Super Bowl from home. Hope to see most of the game between power outages - we've had four so far.

For you hardy folks heading to BG, please extend my thanks to Dan for helping to set this up and my regrets for not being able to make it....and you guys be safe.

You just might want to give them a call....I'm sure they will be open; but it couldn't hurt.

Who's there? I will try to make it out once the kids are in bed (Likely after halftime)
Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road

Other than maybe Kent, who lives within walking distance, did anyone make it down to BGB?

Regardless, we need to thank them for at least inviting us to party with them, even if Mother Nature didn't cooperate.

I had an e-mail exchange with Dan yesterday.

I am pretty sure he/they understood the situation, but thanked him nonetheless for his help. He thought a few of the guys showed up and had a good time.

I would like to try this venue again, when we find a good reason to visit them as a group.

Don't think we need much of a reason to get together. ;-)

It was a good time. Kent, Pat Travis and I. Good food and beer... what more do we need?
