$5 glass carboy

Post by jahphreaky »

Ok so I'm moving to beervana soon and I've got a 5 gallon glass carboy and a pile of mostly clean, 'premium' commercial bottles that aren't making the trip with me on my motorcycle.

Since I don't have a way to get rid of them properly by recycling (they're all labeled for refund) and there's a chance someone needs like... 100 x 12oz brown bottles and ~40 x 22oz bombers in addition to that carboy. So $5 gets you a carboy and $5 worth of refundable bottles, I just need to get rid of both of them at the same time. That part is non-negotiable. I live downtown above the bus station and can provide plastic bags aplenty to help get them out. text me at (area code) five zero five - 410 - 8ght7ven5ive3ree and come grab them later this week.

heck, I'd take it all just for the 40 bombers.... anyone want the rest of it? i can drop the rest it at the county recycling center if not... I just don't trust glass carboys after reading so many horror stories.

Maybe I could pick it up before the meeting and bring stuff there to redistribute

Been brewing 13 years and have broken one glass carboy. Luckily no one hurt and no beer in it. Clean it up off the ground and no worries. It was my one carboy with no handle on it. I still use glass a lot. Of course I use a chainsaw too. Now there are some horror stories.
