Border Hop Fest 2015 tickets on Sale!

Saturday May 30th from 1pm - 4pm

The date has been set for the return of the Border Hop Beer Festival. This is the Second Anniversary of this event, the spring counterpart to our Brrrfest. The festival focuses on beer from the surrounding states, including those that normally do not even sell in Iowa. Held on the top of the Marriott parking ramp overlooking the Iowa River, this is the perfect way to kick of the festival season.


Last year's Border Hop was a great success. Everyone was able to try new and exciting beers that they could not have tried without a major road trip. The weather was great and the venue played out nicely, with a great view of the entire IRL. Once again we hope for sunshine, but if it does rain we can always move things down a level and the show will go on. Parking ramps are great like that. There will be a few changes this year. We will be adding about 6 more breweries. Once again we will bring as many specialty beers that we can, including those from breweries that don't sell in Iowa.

While the weather at today's fest did suck, there were some tasty beers served.

Note the upcoming fests at the bottom. Pay particular attention to the Boucherie on June 27th. It's another hog roast by Rustic Rooster. This one will feature 4, yes FOUR, whole hogs, each a different heritage breed.
