Fifth Annual Beer Fest

Benefiting the Downtown District

Saturday, May 16, 2009: 1-5 p.m.
at Benz 501 7th Ave SE

There will be more details once we have them about our club participation.

Get downtown and get ready for summer! Join us for this exciting outdoor beer tasting extravaganza. We will feature over 75 delicious brews from all over the world, special guests including brewmasters pouring their brews and live music . Admission is $15, and includes a souvenir tasting glass. Profits go to the Cedar Rapids Downtown District

I plan on going. I will have 5 gallons of "Oh a Weizen Guy Eh?" weizenbock. I'll also bring the 3 tap cooler.

I can bring one draft box, then we would be up to four on tap. I spoke with Benz, I’ll post something more formal, but expect to be there with beer and dispensing equipment between noon and 12:30 that day.

I was planning on bringing a keg as well if we can get two more, I’m bringing a wit.

I have the club box with the banner and some other stuff. I plan on being there although I'm out of beer at the moment. I should be there around noon.

I've got a keg of my tasty but cheap-ass cyser I'm planning to bring. I need to refrigerate & sample it to make sure it's ready, but I think it's there.

I've got an IPA. I will not be able to be there until 2. We have soccer and football that day. But I can get the keg to someone before hand.

I am not sure if I will be there yet. I may be in Des Moines that day. I will know closer to event time. I do not have any beer to bring.
