Mondays
Mondays
I work in corporate America for your typical big evil corporation. The similarities to the movie "Office Space" are far too accurate. I do not like my job much and do not look forward to coming in on Monday. A positive thing about my job is I do like most of the people I work with on a day to day basis. I am also well known throughout my company as the beer expert. A co-worker was talking about his favorite stout lately, Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper. I told him he could probably find it at Family Liquor across the river from Dubuque. Well he went and bought 9 of those and a shopping cart full of other stuff. Luckily, there was one of these on my desk when I got to work this morning. Best Monday in a while for me.

Re: Mondays
I can relate. No beer on my desk today though.
Mondays
No shit. I just got a raise and hardly gave two shits about it [emoji19] already have 18 hours in since yesterday and am leaving for a 5 day motorcycle trip. It's about the only thing that clears my head anymore. Beer just brings on the voices telling me to quit and do something mindless.

Re: Mondays
I say fuck it and let's create a co-op brewery.
Re: Mondays
If rather mow lawns than run a brewery. Beer drinkers are assholes [emoji23]

Re: Mondays
So are brewers! Lol
Re: Mondays
Matt, back in the day when I worked (ROFLMAO), I'd have been fired on the spot for having any alcohol on company property, even in my car! And, I'd likely would have been banned from working anywhere in the industry for at least 5 years. Count your blessings.

I couldn't do a lot of things I do if I had been in your line of work. Reminds me, I don't want to forget the beer in the fridge I bought at lunch yesterday. Already forgot yesterday. Certainly could be worse, at least that's what I tell myself.
