Sunny Winter Day....Why not brew?

Post by daryl »

It's is a really nice day out...so I am brewing an American Rouge Stout.

Just mashing in...and it smells great. I'll be posting some questions later with regard to recipes and SW tools. I have started using the trial version of Brewers Friend....there were differences between what the BYO authors projected vs what Brewer Friend projected for OG / FG.

No worries about the weather now, while the sun is up, but it might be a little chilly when it comes to finishing the boil.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

And tonight...another 5 gallons are in the bucket - Breakfast Oatmeal Stout.

I still have empty buckets....I think I see 'red' in my future...probably an Irish. Sounds like a plan for St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's Day.
